Terms and Conditions of Bastoni's Intermediation of Purchase and Sale, hereinafter simply referred to as ‘Bastoni’, and, on the other hand, the customer “Bastoni”, qualified at the time of purchase of the products on Bastoni's website, hereinafter simply referred to as ‘Customer’.
Considering that Bastoni intermediates the sale of products and services over the Internet; Considering the Customer's interest in purchasing the products offered by Bastoni (‘Products’) on its sales channels; The purpose of this contract is to establish the general conditions of use and purchase of products and services by the customer of the Bastoni website.
I. Confidentiality: it is the responsibility of Bastoni to preserve the confidentiality of all data and information provided by the Customer in the purchase process. The security of the site is audited daily and guaranteed against hackers through the ‘Site Armoured’ seal.
II. Customer Service: Customers have access to this service to resolve any queries, requests or complaints regarding their order or any content available on the site. The Customer Service Centre can be contacted by telephone, e-mail or using the form on the website.
III. Delivery policy: the deadline for delivery of the Products is informed during the purchase procedure and is counted in working days. Product deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, from 8am to 10pm. Exceptionally, some Product deliveries may take place on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
III.I - Checking that the dimensions of the product are appropriate is the responsibility of the Customer, who must ensure that they comply with the spatial limits of the lifts, doors and corridors at the place of delivery. There will be no assembly or disassembly of the product, transport by stairs and/or doors and windows, or lifting of deliveries.
III.II - Up to three delivery attempts will be made at the location informed, on alternate days, with an interval of up to 48 hours between one delivery and the next. It is essential that, at the address requested, there is a person authorised by the buyer, over 18 years of age, and carrying identification to receive the goods and sign the delivery protocol. If three delivery attempts are unsuccessful, the order will be returned to the carrier's distribution centre.
III.III - Once the order has been finalised, it is not possible to change the payment method and/or delivery address, request an advance or prioritise delivery.
III.IV - The delivery time informed during the Product purchase procedure takes into account stock, region, the invoice issuing process and product preparation time. Each time the order's delivery status is updated, Bastoni's system automatically sends alert e-mails to the Customer.
III.V - The cost of delivery is calculated on the basis of the place of delivery, weight and dimensions of the Product.
III.VI - Bastoni does not authorise the carrier to: enter the home; deliver by alternative means (e.g. hoisting the product through a window); carry out product installation or maintenance; open the product packaging; deliver to an address other than that stated on the order information; deliver to minors or without an identification document.
III.VII - Bastoni is not responsible for goods being held up when this is exclusively due to pending issues with the customer, who must therefore be present at the tax office for the goods to be released, given that in these cases information regarding releases and payments is only passed on to the interested parties.
IV. Right of withdrawal: the Customer may exercise the right to withdraw from the purchase in order to return the Product, in which case the following conditions must be observed: the period for withdrawing from the purchase of the Product is up to 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of receipt; in the event of a return, the Product must be returned to Bastoni in its original packaging, accompanied by the Electronic Invoice Auxiliary Document, the manual and all its accessories.
IV.I - The Customer must request the return via the Customer Service Centre or directly on the Control Panel, in the ‘cancel order’ section. The costs of collecting or posting the Product will be borne by the customer.
IV.III - In the case of credit card purchases, the credit card company will be notified and the chargeback will take place on the next or subsequent invoice, in one go, regardless of the number of instalments used in the purchase. The deadline for reimbursement, and also for charging the remaining instalments after the full amount of the Product has been refunded to the Customer's credit card by Bastoni, is the responsibility of the card company. In the event of future instalments being charged by the card company, the Customer will not be burdened, since Bastoni, as mentioned above, refunds the full amount of the Product in one go, with the credit for the refund being granted in full by the card company on the billing invoice following the month of cancellation.
IV.IV - For purchases paid for by bank slip or account debit, the refund will be made by bank deposit, within 10 (ten) working days, only into the buyer's current account, which must be individual. The client informations must be that of the current account holder.
